Latest development in Pearl of Orient is the former Deputy Chief Minister 1, Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin, has resigned as Penanti Assemblyman. This will pave way for another by-election in Penang. Fairus from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) had earlier this month resigned from the post of Deputy Chief Minister 1 of Penang.
